I mentioned a few weeks ago that Pete did not share my love of Gossip Girl, despite my continued efforts to turn him into Chuck Bass, I wasn’t really getting anywhere (although my Blair transformation has been going swimmingly, thank you for asking).
You can imagine my joy and surprise upon returning from my Houston vacay to hear him listening to “I See You” by Mika that was featured in the last GG episode.
“Oh my gosh! This was featured in last nights Gossip Girl! I love this song!” -Bailey
“Huh, really? That’s weird” -Pete looking smug/awkward
“You’ve been watching it, haven’t you!!!!!!!!!!!!”
So. Busted.
So now Pete doesn’t argue with me when I push him to look like a particularly foppish dandy*, and doesn’t even seem to mind too much when I call him Chuck. For those reasons and many many more I luff heem and want to wish him a very happy 24th Berfday!
