Clifford The Big Red House: Master Update

Sooo originally I posted that we would basically be recreating this Master Bedroom for the house…

Using these fabrics to mix in a bit more color in da haüs

But the more I look at it the more I worry that maybe it is just a bit…much…I mean it is definitely cozy, but I am just not sure I can live ensconced in that much fabric. I am thinking this might be a more modern solution:islejrniaf

Plus it would offer more of an opportunity to mix in some younger/funkier fabrics…

I think it feels young and cozy but still traditional

khkjnYes? No? What do you think? Do you like my first inspiration or this version better?

What is a horseshoe? What does a horseshoe do? Is anybody listening to me?

I’m listening. Ha. I like the first room, but I think you have a good point. Seems like the second one would be easier to actually live in. I think the blue is gorgeous. Can’t wait to see what you come up with! I’ve got to re-do my master bedroom this year, too.

Hmm tough decision. So long as the bed remains comfortable like the one in H-town, I’m game. Are we finished on the decisions for downstairs though?

    love the second one!

The second one has cleaner lines, I think it is because it plays around only 2 basic colors, and few textures… it is very inviting, looks like you can slumber like a king/queen in there. I love modern, I am into contemporary, yet your room attracts me very much.
    It is a terrific work.

    I’m loving the second choice!

I agree with your point ~ the second is a bit more modern, a bit more subtle, and classic. I don’t think it’s something you’d end up regretting ~

Love the second one! I would love to paint my house that color? So you know what color blue it is? LOVE it!

I LOVE the blue bedroom. Can you indicate what the name of the fabric is and what color the walls are painted. I need to redo my bedroom also, and this is soooo relaxing and inviting. Thanks

I bought a table like your bedside tables in a wood tone. Can you tell me if these tables were painted or were they purchased this colour. I like the room very much.
