Clifford: The Entryhall

Praise Buddha, things are really starting to move along at Clifford. Since my plan for the living space has changed about 1 squillion times since we started, I decided to take a break and start focus on smaller randar spaces and go from there. First up, the entrance hall.

I am thinking black and white. Like Sienna Miller here.

Hopefully not so much like this.

How great is this chandelier from my new favorite, Gardenhouse?

Or this wallpaper from Osbourne & Little?

Yep. I am thinking black and white might be the way to go here.

stripes entry

I don’t know if I am going to go full on stripes, or maybe more understated (think white walls black moldings?) but I thought I would poll you lovelies first to hear what you think of the whole situation.

I would love to hear from you! Please leave a comment below!

I loveee the black and white leaf wall paper, but I think that the white with black moldings would look very sophisticated!!!

love the black and white idea! i think the stripes are gorgeous… especially in the 9th picture of the powder room. I like the deep plum walls as well! You’re onto something BQD.

Suggestion… perhaps for furniture check out ‘space’ (they are in Australia, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore) or do a Google search for ‘kartell’. I love your idea, just be careful about closing in your area too much (dark colours tends to do that) and careful with stripes as they play with the mind, making walls appear taller/shorter or longer/wider/shorter.
