When I started planning this Spring series I emailed Eddie Ross as a sort of blogging Hail Mary. Did not think Mr. Dapper Bow-Tie would have time to dally with this sort of thing.
I was wrong.
He wrote me back immediately and Spring began in my chilly Chicago home. If you aren’t familiar with his work, I don’t even know what to say to you. Except you should be ashamed of yourself. He was on Bravo’s Top Design, which is where I fell in love with him, but has also brought his adorableness to House Beautiful and Martha Stewart Living. Most recently he won the Apartment Therapy Big Window Challenge. With this radness.

But I am going to pry my lips from his hindparts now and just let him tell you what is up for Spring.
1. I know Spring has sprung in my neck of the woods when…
The baby sheep are born across the street from us and we hear all the ba-ah ba-ah

2. If I could go anywhere for Spring Break this year it would be…
Shopping the flea markets in England.

3. My favorite way to celebrate the season is…
Having a Spring brunch for 60. Six.

4. My Spring Cleaning projects/resolutions are…
To have a tag sale and get rid of my storage space.
(Eddie sells fab flea store finds, esp. tons of yummy milk glass, at his etsy shop)
5. The must have for my Spring Wardrobe is…
New Spring color bow ties.
6. My favorite way to bring the season into my home is…
Having flowering potted bulbs such as Lilly of the Valley, White tulips, and white Crocuses in all different silver bowls with green moss.
(How to: Here)
If that didn’t brighten your day you might be experiencing a serious Lo-Grade Depression. The only cure for which is heading over to visit EddieRoss.com. I mean look at him.

He (and Jaithan) make me happier than bunnies.

I love this feature. Eddie is so cute and talented!
No one sets a table quite like Eddie Ross. That center piece is to die for! I have a similar obsession with milk glass and have been working on my small collection for the past two years.
Eddie, if you’re reading this, where do you live that there are baby sheep across the street?? That is too funny!
Keep em coming, Bailey!
Cheers,
Alaina
