A few months ago one of my darling readers, Bee, emaild me about putting together a Sunflower inspired Wedding post. And I completely dropped the ball. Luckily, Bee is as patient as she is charming, and now she can reap her rewards.

So as I see it you can really go two ways with a Sunflower themed wedding.

I think the key is restraint as some of the Sunflower themed weddings I stumbled upon in my search bordered on overkill. People reaalllyyyy love their sunflowers.
First, let’s set the scene…
Even if you are going for a Sunflower theme, you don’t have to be single mindedly florally. The Sunflower is a lover and would relish sharing the spotlight with some of these buds.

It’s weird I am such a yellow fanatic but don’t like sunflowers. That being said – these are some pretty darling images, and great ideas for people who DO like sunflowers! And that Oscar de la Renta dress is to die for!!! Oh my gosh. And the yellow dress under it. Perfect. Do you know who it’s by?? Oh, also loving all the yellow drinks!

Holy Moly that was one great post! Granted I went into it quite biased, as my own wedding (14 years ago) featured sunflowers quite predominantly….we had them in a gorgeous canopy over our heads at our ceremony and also in the centerpieces! I love them!
