“Follow Your Bliss” you say?

Ohh! Lookey what we have here…Indeeeed, MetHome (rip)…Indeed.

Speaking of which I have been thinking hard about Paloma’s Lucite-Tray-Winning advice on the re-design of PB and my as yet unnamed biznass venture. Namely about some sort of graphic pattern for the logo/background. For inspiration I went in search of my favorite wallpapers. This is just a wee smattering, many more where these came from…

So I know these aren’t exactly “graphic” but they are just a few of my faves I am groovin’ on for inspiration lately. Any thoughts? Any that speak to you? Spit at you? Wink at you seductively? Talk to me gurl(s).

    They’re all so so beautiful but they all play on the whimsy which is what I thought you wanted to stray away from. Instead of focusing on what you’re into right now, focus on the things that have ALWAYS caught on your eye, and that will continue to catch your eye in 20 years. Then again, if these fall into that, then perfect!

    I like 1 and 2 and the bees, but I’m not sure how they would play to a logo/background. I don’t think you want anything *too* busy. Clean and simple seems like a good bet, nothing that you would get sick of too soon.

    i love love love that next to last one. oh yes, that speaks to me. i can see it in an old house bathroom (…like me own!..hehe…no more projects, no more projects). white hexagonal tile on the floor. shoulder-level high wainscoting painted vinatgey medium sage green. big one-over-one window. old pedestal sink (not refinished). clawfoot tub. *and that wallpaper* oh, yes!

    The 6th one down is the wallpaper in my grandma’s kitchen. She has it on the walls and the ceiling. So. Cute.
