So fortunately, I am currently involved in a love affair with a skilled seaman. Mike teaches sailing to youngsters on Lake Arlington every summer. So if you need some lessons I can hook it up. Just let me know! Sidenote: he may only know how to operate tiny vessels, but its better than nothing!

OOOO, I LOVE this question! We were married September 23rd and we went to Paris and the South of France. It was the absolute perfect time of year. Gorgeous in Paris and still warm at the beach. We loved our Hotels – George V in Paris, Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo and the faboooooosh Cap Estel in Eze. I have restaurant recommendations too if you decide to go there!

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines! We went during hurricane season and we only had one cloudy/”crappy” day out of 10. We did Palm Island and Petit St. Vincent check them out!

That sounds incredible, but sailing’s pretty hard… And do you need a liscense to rent a boat? I just ask because on family vacations, my dad always had to show is Navy ID to get a sailboat, and I was always under the impression that not everyone was allowed to. That was a while ago, though, so who knows.

Of the two, I definitely vote north. I went to a wedding in Maine last summer, and it was breathtakingly beautiful. How early does it get cold up there? Will September already be freezing? That would be my only fear. But if you get to see the changing leaves, a little chill would be totally worth it.

P.S. I just started reading your blog and love it! I love your taste. If you find yourself looking for an idea to write about…. I live in a rectangle studio apartment and am kind of stumped with how to decorate it… it is pretty boring now. Would love to see what you think about decorating studio apts.
