This is such a beautiful story and I love, love, love the way that the wedding is a true celebration and not an over-grandiose ‘hollywood’ production.

The joy and love flows out of each picture and I could almost feel the ‘buzz’ that would have been created when everyone realised what was really going on.

talk about a curve ball! a totally cool and fun one though. she looked smashing! i love the idea of getting married in a fancy skirt instead of a big pouffy dress… then again my wedding visions change on the daily and i’ve got more than a few years to go. when do we get to see what you’ll be rocking? the anticipation is killing me!

Thank you, Bailey, for the fun opportunity to “re-visit” Mal and Johnny’s wedding. It was SOOO much fun -just like the two of them- and was truly a reflection of who they are and what they hold dear. Lots of family and friends and laughter and love for each other and everyone in their lives. My only regret is that it all went so fast- I wish we could do it all over again !!!
Mal is so very special in so many ways. Johnny is blessed to have her- They are blessed to have each other …

We actually seriously discussed having a surprise wedding, so I love hearing stories like this one! For us, it just couldn’t work logistically because we live more than 1000 miles from our family and our long-term friends. We just couldn’t figure out how to “trick” them into making the trek.
