Coco Before 5 a.m.

A lot has changed since Pete and I got married. Perhaps the most peculiar change is that I don’t seem to need sleep anymore. I would LIKE to sleep, don’t get me wrong, but my body has indicated to me several times by naturally awakening itself at 5:00 am that sleep is no longer for me. So this morning when I awoke on the wrong side of the sunrise I decided not to fight the rooster in me and stomped up to the TV room to see what kind of programming is scheduled for the ass-crack-of-dawn.

Not. A whole lot, people.

Thank buddha for on demand, and Coco Before Chanel.One of those movies I was dying to see in theatres but that Mister Pete veto’d. I watched it more as a silent movie, because my sleepy eyeballs were in no mood for subtitles…But I got the gist of the situation, and it was just beee-u-tee-ful.

That dang gorgey Audrey Tautou tried to trick my into cutting my hair short because she looked so fabulous and cheek-boned. Must not be fooled, I do not think Mister Pete would be happy.And all of the black and white moments made me even more pleased with the black and white decor that occurs in a few places around my house. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I just love black and white in interior design…{elements of style}{made by girl}{Elle Decor}

…And now I am really looking forward to the new member of our furniture family that we will be welcoming any day now.

Charming, no?
I think Coco would approve.

    Coco before Chanel was an amazing movie, I even roped my hubs into watching it. The clothes, the landscape. It makes me just want to pack up and move to France!

    I have been on such a strange sleep schedule lately, too. One day it’s all going to catch up with me for sure.

    I keep wanting to watch this movie but then somehow forget about it. Need to get on that. And I looove black and white decor.
