My latest client needs help with her kids rooms. FINALLY an excuse for my extensive “baby room inspiration” files that Pete finds so creepy. See Pete! I not creep, I’ms a serious bizness woman decorator lady!
The best part of the client project is that I will be decorating a room for a little girl:
The little girl is adorable and obviously obsessed with Pink.
The goal is going to be to do pink in a way that will grow with her so that her poor parents don’t have to redecorate every year.
LOVE this from the latest Lonny, but I don’t think my wee client will let orange into the room. Pink and purple only. Strict orders.
Too much pink and purple? Probably. But it would be fuunnnn.
There is also a wee precious boys room:
via The Zhush
Love the stripes.
Betsey Burnham via Decor Demon
Love this room, but might be a bit grown up for this little guy.
Steven Gambrel
My client wants to do a map wall which I am all in favor of.
Ashley Whittaker
Maps, yes good, and also some painted furniture which will be happening here.
And a newborn, sex currently undetermined, baby!

I distinctly remember some fab ladyblogger decorator did this room and I cannot for the life of me recall…please let me know if you do so I can give credit!
**UPDATE** Thank you Camila for reminding me that it was Caitlin Creer! Fab.
Love this take on the typical yellow and green sad “gender-neutral” solutions.
Estee Lauder lady did it too…Fun, no?
This inspiration board that Jenny did for a clients nursery is one of my favorite rooms ever ever in the history of ever. I would live in this room in a second.
I don’t know if they would go this funky fresh, but we all still love this, don’t we?
Thank goodness I am able to work with clients petitte baguettes. I find that proximity to other peoples adorable children keeps my own babymonster from completely taking over. Which is good because I think Pete and I maybe need to be married for more than 5 seconds before we think about unleashing what are sure to be truly absurd children on the world.

How fun! THREE kids’ rooms. What an awesome opportunity! I’m loving the movie star-esque portraits over the beds in the pink/orange room, that delicious wall paper in the green/yellow room, and that yummy yellow chesterfield in the inspiration board. And I’m always a fan of stripes and map walls. You’re gonna have a blast with these!
(PS I did a nursery mood board the other day because the Amy Butler rugs are on sale on sale on One Kings Lane right now. Check it out when you have a chance. http://30daystofixmylife.com/?p=554)
Fab post miss b! i just love all the nurseries…hope newlywed life is treating you well. love to you missy.. xoxoxoxoxoxox
cant wait to see what you do in that little girls room.
oh my I love the first one!!! Have you seen the room Christina from Full House created for her little princesses?? One of my all time favorites! xoxo
Yeah!!!! so fun! I cannot wait to see what you turn out! I know it will be fab. I agree with Helena check out the cute little girls room form full house. Adorbs!
I totally freaked out the other night when I had a dream that I was prego, but I totally have inspiration pics on file for my future babe. BTW I can’t remember if I asked you already, but where did you get that crazy good dance floor?
Kids rooms are the funnest! It’s been three years for M and I and sometimes I think, “Well, maybe…” and then we do something incredibly juvenile and I’m all like, “Yep, not yet.”
Lovely inspiration pics. Totally obsessed with the pink and orange shot from Lonny, but if little client wants and purple & pink best to toss out orange.
The pretty yellow and green bedroom is designed by my sweet pal Caitlin from http://www.caitlincreer.com
check out littlemothdesign.blogspot, she has some amazing kids room inspiration
More Quin B interiors?!!! I’m waiting with bated breath. XOXO!

Hey! So sorry I am just now responding to your pregunta…I have no idea where we got the dance floor! I think our wedding planners magical jack of all trades artist man made it for us!
