So far, all the guides I have read pretty much just focus on the fabulous gay scene in Palm Springs. Which sounds amazing and I am totally in to- but I also don’t want to get Pete into a Boat Trip situation.
Not because he would object, but because that was a horribly unfunny movie and I am not interested in anything unfunny.
So far we are looking into:
The Amigo Room at The Ace Hotel: Because The Ace in NYC was pretty fly and I hear this one makes a mean cocktail, which I think we all know I am very into.
Norma’s for Brunch: Because the always pure MelMel told me to. So did OhJoy. And it’s at our hotel which seems like a real “duh” as my father would say. He is very hip with the lingo.
We need to find a groovy spot for New Years Eve. Mostly because I am wearing this dress and it deserves to be taken out on the town:
So does Pete, but the dress especially.
So far we are considering Melvyn’s, and Copley’s but we are open to suggestion. I also want to shop for some fab mid-century Hollywood castoffs so tell me where to go to for that jazz as well.
