Pete and I are heading down south to the lands of civilized temperatures where the queso flows like wine and the margs are strong. I’m talking about Texas, people. My homeland, to which I will be returning for Christmas. I am going to try to keep posting throughout our vacay but I wanted to wish all of you, my favorites of all the internets, a very merry Peppermint Christmas!

You are coming to Texas and I am leaving it for a vacay in Colorado! You’ll definitely enjoy the mild weather – tights are optional and I give dirty looks to people that wear gloves and Uggs. Hope you have a fab time with your family and you report back on all your gifts from Santa!
P.S. I celebrated Christmas early with my boyfriend last night – we feasted on Blue Bell Peppermint ice cream and home-made brownies. Thought you should know
