Where did you go Sudley Shower??

Did any of you guys have a Sudley Shower when you were growing up??
I did. And I luffed heem.

He made showers magical. Not like a scary fire hose attack, because the water poured gently from his nose like a friendly rain shower. His big ears held various soaps. He was my most special bathies friend.

I want one for McBaby Girl, but they don’t make them anymore. Probably because Sudley looks a little bit more rapey faced than I remember him.

Regardless, one of my favorite parts about being pregnant has been remembering these wonderful little things from my childhood and thinking of ways to recreate them for our girl.

What were your most favorite childhood memories that you plan to or have repeating for your imaginary and real babies?

Bummer they don’t make those anymore, because Sven NEEDS one, even with the rapey face ;) He has pint-sized freak outs when the shower hits him!!

That thing is hilarious! If I were you I would be so excited to make my little babers a library. Stocked with Eloise, Are You My Mother?, The Bedspread, and Where The Wild Things Are.

Please tell me you had Rub-a-Dub Doggies?! They made bath time the BEST!

The best part of bath time was playing with those soaps that you could paint on the walls of the bath! You could paint pictures and they came in different colors and then they washed right off and you use them as soap too! Artistic bath time!

PLAY-DOH! More than playing with it, I used to love the smell of the stuff. To this day, I can’t pass a can without taking a whiff – heaven!

I was obsessed with Calico Critters – I had dollhouses for them, carried them everywhere with me, gave them names – they were like family to me!

Living Room Forts built with dining room chairs with blankets thrown over the top! So fun on rainy days, and my little boy loves them too!

Remember those hooded towels that had different terry cloth animal heads? Like one might be a froggie or a duckie or a dinosaur? I loved those!
