We will be pretty crazy busy getting ready to blow this popsicle stand, so I will be alternating betwixt posting our usual fare and some awesome things from the Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse that is open in NYC right now.

In case you don’t know the KBDS chooses some of the most fabbylass designers and assigns them each a room in a gorgeous house to do each year, and then tickets are sold to benefit the Boys & Girls club. I love it for its balls to the wall decorating eye candy, and because I always discover new designers who I probably should know of, but don’t.

Who is pretty adorable and designed a master bathroom for the showhouse.
Which I enjoy even though apparently she decided on that dumbass shower curtain because she thinks glass shower doors are “over”.
Which is among one of the more profoundly stupid predictions in design I have ever heard. Stop trying to make “fetch” happen, Jamie.
I then went and looked up her portfolio, and there is lots of goodness in there as well!
Lots of purity in there.
Another new-to-me designer?
Robert Stilin who designed a really lovely patio space. 
Complete with a lamby friend. 
And we all know I have never met a lamb I didn’t like.

I like most of her work you’ve shown but not a huge fan of the balloon shades in that bathroom. It’s just too…something, not sure…
