The new Lonny is out and she be good, she be’s real good.
One of my faves was the New Orleans home of Perch owner Caroline Robert.
The highlight of which was this fab petitte biscuit and canopy.
Just look at that pompom trim!
I think I love it so much because we are planning on doing something similar for Girly McBaby’s nursery.
Our pompoms are going to be red, as the trim on the curtains in that elusive Paule Marrot fabric.
Her room at our home here in Chicago was so teensy tiny we could only barely fit a crib, glider, and changing table. But in Austin I think we might be able to fit a daybed.
And so I am thinking about doing a canopy like this around it with the red pompom trim.
With this daybed from Art For Kids.
I’m pretty happy about the whole situation and I think Girly McBaby will be as well.

Love this!! Which glider and dresser are you using in McBaby’s room?
McBaby’s room is going to be amazing. Go for the pompoms!
Oh my gawd, you kill me (you know, in the awesomeness kind of way)
The design corner of your brain must be like a genetic composition of Marie Antoinette and Warhol – and I so DIG that!
aww I love the colors and patterns that youve given us a peak of for your baby girls bedroom. I hope she is doing well…how are you doing?
ahhh this is just daaaaarling, her nursery will be divine!
Love the Porthault pillows! And I’m so happy to hear that you found someone to make the Paule Marrot fabric – it’s going to look fab!
Love the idea! Sounds positively darling!xx
