Thought #1

I have never met a lamb I didn’t like. Obviously our two family ovines are my favorite. Mabel, with her golden hooves.

And Lambar Odom.

I have gotten a lot of emails asking where people can find one like him, or if I would sell them ours. Um no, no I won’t. Lambar is a member of our family, but he finds it flattering that he is so desired.

Anyway, a quick search on 1st dibs (where Lambar and I met) led me to these guys.

Snow White Sheep

Penitent Sheep.

Golden Sheep

Thought #2

Being pregnant has turned me into the mushiest, weepiest, lady ever. While I am sad that Oprah is going off the air, it’s probably for the best. This was me yesterday watching her show on a dying mother who videotaped messages for her daughter.

Complete mess.

Thought #3

While perusing 1st Dibs I found this headboard which is the hotness.

Someone needs it.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone, it’s our last one here in Chicago so I am going to try and whoop it up a bit!

xoxo

I TOTALLY FORGOT to tell you I spied a doppelganger to your lamb here in Brazil at an International Fair – strangely, the vendor also sold cowhide rugs, so I feared the lamb might’ve been….real?
Anyway, I thought of you, and took a pic (which I can now not find) :(
Have a great last weekend in the Windy City, the Lone Star State awaits your return!

I wept yesterday watching Oprah too. My parents brought back 2 awesome sheep/lambs from New Zealand about 25 years ago… they were always in our family room but I haven’t seen them in a while. Hope they still have them! I have a huge sheepskin rug in my place that they brought back from the same trip. Love that they bought these things decades before they were all the rage!!!

Love your blog. You totally make me laugh. FYI there are sheep on Joss and Main right now under the phillips collection heading. There are not yours, but may make someone happy. Good luck with everything!

I love that golden sheep, it’s adorable and luxe, a rare combination. I also love the super gorgeous headboard, it’s the mother of all headboards.

Have an enjoyable and relaxing weekend!

1.) I love sheep. I now think I also need a giant one in my future home.
2.) That picture of you watching Oprah is hilarious.
