Hi Everyone!
Just popping in for a quick update…
Every single comment, tweet etc. has lifted us up so much. Thank you for sharing in our joy, as much as there are scary things going on, these past few days have been the most incredible of our lives.
I am still in the hospital and probably will be through the weekend.
Gracie Girl is doing well, she had a rough day yesterday with lots of tests but she is so calm, like her daddy, a little buddha baby.
Her big surgery is tomorrow at 8:30 am, so we will be needing all of the prayers we can get.
As a thank-you in advance here is a little niblet of baby preshness.
Finally getting to hold her after 8 long hours.
This is my favorite picture taken thus far. Gracie is looking at Pete like, “Dad!! I know hims!!” You can already tell these two are going to be obsessed with each other.
Which is cool with me because I am obsessed with both of them.
I don’t know you, but I have been following your story. Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby girl. I’m sending positive vibes your way. Your family is precious.

Bailey- Grace is PERFECTION!!! She is a strong little one just like you and will do wonderfully during her surgery. We’ll be praying for you all and the doctors that lead the charge. Looking forward to an update and LOTS more pictures of that little nugget.

Congrats on a very beautiful Grace. My third was going to be Grace but is Jack instead. Here’s my two cents on what in in front of you-you are in a marathon not a race. You can best care for her by caring for yourself and that means sleep and rest for you right now. Accept whatever help is offered from your loving family and friends and get strong for that gorgeous girl. I will be sending up all good thoughts and prayers for you all tomorrow.
I work with Liana E. and she just showed me your blog and your beautiful baby girl! Gracie will have all of my thoughts, prayers and positive energy for her surgery tomorrow morning. Can’t wait to see more pictures of her.

I have been reading your blog for a little while now, and LOVE how funny you are!! You seriously make me spit my coffee out every morning! You are such a strong mama! I know you are so proud of your little Gracie girl! I have my own precious girl, who just turned a year old last Friday. Having a little girl is amazing.
