So this was what I wanted to post on Monday…sorry to be redundant but I wanted to share!
Our anniversary was fantastic, thank you very much. Pete called the restuarant that catered our wedding, The Little Nell, and had them recreate the meal we served at our wedding. 
They even made us a special floral arrangement reminiscent of our centerpieces at the wedding.
Presh.
Except at our wedding the dessert was a cinnamon donut with an espresso pots de creme.
This time they served a bacon beignet. And it was insane.
The whole thing was super romantical.
Then we went home and had a piece of our wedding cake.
Which is actually a pretty foul tradition.
I still cant believe all of this- our whole magical wedding weekend- was a year ago.
It is almost overwhelming. We moved into our first home together, had it published, found out we were pregnant, and that girly mcbaby was sick. We moved to Texas so that GMcB could get the best care possible, and started work on our new home in Austin. More importantly than all of that-we welcomed Baby Grace into the world-and I think I speak for both of us when I say that we could never have imagined a year ago the explosion of joy and magic and love and just everything that was about to come into our lives.
Thank you guys for coming along for the ride and for all of the support and prayers and love over the past year!

Little Nell is super yummo! Bravo Pete for an outstanding anniversary. Talk about above and beyond and super romantic! Congrats to the McCarthy’s on surviving (yes, surviving) year one. All the best for many years of health and happiness.
