I have made no secret that I have never been much of a purple girl. In fact, I think purple might be the only color of the glorious rainbow that has not found its way into my home in even the smallest capacity.
But I think Mrs. Snippet and Ink might have gone and changed my mind with this board.
I mean, beauty!
This one by the lady is pretty good too.
It’s not just any purple. It’s fig. And it is delicious.
So, I might add, are these fig featuring dishes.
Pretty pie. Or tart. Tartlet. Tartlet. The word has lost all meaning.
These are freaking brie and fig puffs for all that is good and delicious in the world!
Just stuff a dozen into my large post preggo bod immediately, please.
And I normally staunchly anti-cooked-fruit!
THIS IS MADNESS!!!!!

I would love to hear from you! Please leave a comment below!
Did you see Tyler Florence’s fig and ricotta pancake recipe in October’s House Beautiful? It looked fig-ing delicious!
That’s so funny that you don’t like purple. It’s my favorite color and I have it in every room in my house! But I have colors I hate that other people love too!
OMG BAILEY your ‘Friends’ reference just made my day!!!! Happy almost-Thanksgiving!
If you come around, your life will be forever changed for the better. Purple is THE best color there is!
And those puffs look unlike anything I’ve ever seen or tasted– must be rectified very soon!
Yumm… you know I’m drooling!
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve started liking things i was adamantly against in my teens and early twenties. Like I hated, and I mean HATED mushrooms, but now I eat them all the time! I say embrace the change!
Love those fig and brie rolls at the end of your post! Any chance you can include the recipe where you found them? Dying to make (and eat) them! Happy Thanksgiving!
Maggie- I found them on pinterest searching “fig”- good lucK!
I knew I knew that quote from somewhere but I had to do a quick Google search to confirm. LOVE the Friends reference
And the rest of the post, of course!
