It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Because I know all any of you want is to see pictures of other peoples Christmas trees. You probably haven’t gotten enough in your facebook newsfeeds. So here is ours!

And our Santa Chute:

You like those stockings?
Thanks!

They are part of the FEED Project and each stocking provides half a year of micronutrients for a child through their Nutrient Fund. I think they are real good looking, regardless.

But I also really believe in the FEED initiative started by Lauren Bush Lauren (what a fantastic name) and if you are unfamiliar with their work, you should check them out.

They have lots of great items for Christmas presents that give back.Feed Kenya Bracelets

Cute pouches/clutchesBaby Stuffs

And their classic bags.
Tis the reason for the season, afterall!

Merry Merry!

I would love to hear from you! Please leave a comment below!

Your tree is beautiful! Did you take a cue from the pin about how to photograph your Christmas tree better? …or am I the only lame-o who read that? :)

Love the room! Where did you get that tree skirt? I’m struggling to find a good one and I really feel the skirt makes the room. Most are so tacky or too much and I can’t find a good subtle classic, festive, yet modern one. Any suggestions? PS. I dieee for that fireplace.

I hate seeing your tweets about all of the negative comments you receive, and I’m guilty of never commenting on blogs (even though I think a million comments in my head) – so just know there are a million of us non-commenter/blog-lovers out there loving every single one of your posts! I adore this cozy fireplace and am going to use the photos as inspiration for our new SF apartment. Your decorating is amazing, I feel like I know Gracie girl, you give so much personality to this blog – don’t change a thing! So stay strong… and maybe hire someone to delete the non-constructive terrible comments before you can see them? It would drive me absolutely nuts, too! Who needs that?! xoxo

I second Jill P’s comment – I’m one of the one million who usually doesn’t comment either, but liked to pretend we are real friends :) I would also love to know where your tree skirt came from – it’s beautiful! Just like the rest of Mr. Banks! Thanks Bailey!

Katie and Annie- Our tree skirt came from bloomingdales home in Chicago last year…and to tell you the truth I am not crazy about it. If you can’t find a skirt you love I would go to a fabric store and buy a couple of yards of beautiful fabric and just drape it around the base!

I’m with Jill P and Katie! Benevolent lurker here love your blog, think your baby and hubby are the best/cutest, forget the haters! Which reminds me of a DOM song you may love, “livin in america” that goes “forget all your haters USA is for lovers” in a v poppy dance beat. Highly recommend. Hang in there!

The rug in the living room is madeline weinrib from ABC carpet in NYC, and the one in Gracie’s room I did custom on Jonathan Adler’s website. Thanks!
