There is pretty much no way to not sound like a total jerk when saying the word “Ombre”.
Try it. No matter what you sound like Giada deLaurentis when she goes from speaking with her SoCal accent to all of a sudden being super Italian, “Oh mah gah, have you ever seen such a beautiful ball of MOOOZARELLAHHHHH”. But I don’t much care, I have become obsessed with ombre. Specifically ombre cakes.

FALSE.
I mean, I am sure that can happen for some lucky people. But I did not lose UNT singular pound. And I was kind of counting on magical weight loss inducing breastfeeding while having ice cream for breakfast when pregnant. Oopsie doopsies.

I find you generally hilarious, but the Giada comment was exceptional. She drives me absolutely bananas when she does that.
You are hysterical! I’ve never commented on your blog before, so it’s probably ridiculous that I’m leaving this one… But if you are still pumping keep going. The weight doesn’t come off until you get in the can’t pump enough to keep up with the eating phase… then when you are pumping non-stop (at least for me) that is when the eat all you want weight flies off magic happened. And, if you aren’t still pumping, then you are BEAUTIFUL just the way you are

I was so stupid that when I had my first I actually took normal clothes to the hospital to wear home! Then the nurse told me I would still look 5 months pregnant…I assumed I’d be 21 lbs. lighter once the baby was out.
Summer- Thanks for the tip! I had to stop bc Gracie became intollerant, of what they didn’t know and I just didnt have it in me to go through an elimination diet.

The whole losing weight with breast feeding is something celebrities made up to make us believe they are just like us. Celebrities and skinny people. I gained over 50 lbs when I was pregnant (oopsies!) and didn’t start to see glimpses of my old body until my son’s first bday (I wasn’t really trying). I started losing the most weight when he started walking and wanting to share all my food. It’ll come off, I promise! I really thought I’d be one of those people that everyone’s like, “omg you just had a baby? No way! You’re way skinnier now than you were before you were pregnant.” Haaaa! Hope Gracie is doing well! Lauren Conrad’s ombre hair… is not real! (Almost) everyone in LA, I’m just now realizing, has these amazing hair extensions. My friend (who also has them) let me in on that little secret a few weeks ago. I was SHOCKED! I thought for sure she ate omega-3s for breakfast, lunch and dinner because her hair looked so healthy. Now, I can spot them from a mile away. Good thing is that custom-dyed extensions can be purchased for a mere $200 in this city. I won’t be purchasing them anytime soon (but if I were, I’d never let the cat out of the bag – what fun is that?

a lovely being, you are so right! you can tell that LC’s hair is extensions now that you mention it! her real dark blond hair is straight in the picture and right where her real hair ends, the light blonde extensions start underneath! what a deception…it sorta makes me feel better to know that she isn’t perfect and nor is her hair. haha!
