Back from the Highlands

Hi Everyone, I’m back!

I survived my separation from the bubbsy.

And had a fantastic time with Pete and his family.

Scotland is BEAUTIFUL, y’all!

Not to mention that there are more sheep than any insomniac could count.

Which is awesome for me, because how Kristin Bell feels about sloths, I feel similarly about lambs.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to pet one, poor planning on my part, really.

But I got to observe several in their natural habitat which was pretty thrilling on its own.

We went to a whiskey distillery.

Scotch not being my drink of choice, it was still cool.

We walked around St. Andrews.

St. Andrews is super charming. Not to mention knowing that is where Will and Kate fell in love was magical.

And now I am back with my girl, where I belong. Refreshed and replenished.

I hope you are all having a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend!

I’m reading a series set in the Highlands, and it has totally changed (read: created) an appreciation for the beauty there. Glad you had a nice Mommy/Daddy vacay!

I noticed your man is not wearing socks — what are your thoughts on that? I think it is a great look but guessing there are some footie socks involved that I will have to convince the hubs to wear?

Enjoyed your pretty pics of Scotland.

Bailey, I’ve been reading your blog for ages, but had never commented until today. Your photograph of the cheese shop in St Andrews made my day – I spent four pretty magical years of university there, and your photo brought back lots of lovely memories!

Hi Bailey! I have also been readding your blog for some time now and am just now commenting. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you add the white polaroid-esque border to your photos in this post?

    Keep up the fantastic work!
