As some of you on the twitters may have noticed, I finally caved and joined Instagram.

I am not sure why I need it.

I am not even sure that I like it. I mean can I not access my pictures online? I don’t understand.

But peoples in the know tell me I should do it, so here I am.

Follow me or something. My name is BaileyQuin, I tweeted some of my pics so far. 

You will be treated to pictures of pink marble bathrooms.

Which in my opinion, is quite a treat.

You will also see pictures of me being vain. For the first time in 11 months I am kind of feelin’ myself, don’t hate.

There will be pictures of my goofy baby.

And pictures of how I got drunk and sunburned like an amateur on our first pool day. Rose is a sneaky little beverage.

    I think instagram is great about 80% of the time because pics from a cell phone, yes, even an iphone, have bad lighting when taken indoors and weird white balance.

    With instagram you give them such romantic hues, light, desaturation, and vignettes (the darker circle around the edges) and with the square crop it’s easier to cut out extra space and focus on the important part of the photo if composition isn’t your strong suit.

    So, to me, some of the filters like Walden and Nashville save a lot of otherwise yucky pictures.

    Looks like you’re at the Villa d’Este! My ex-boss actually paid for my husband and I to stay there for 4 days back in 1985 when we were living in Geneva. That place is amazing. Is there a person on the planet who doesn’t love Italy, really?
