July 16, 2012

Bernie is home and recovering well. 

And wreaking havoc with his cone. Thank you all for his prayers.

The photo shoot was CRAZY. In a good way. I have done a few home shoots now for Rue, and D*S, but it was cool to see how a print magazine with their resources do things up. They do it up big. Lots o’ gear. The whole team was so sweet and I learned a lot bout lots of things, and I’m excited to see our house on some glossy pages! I’ll keep you posted when it comes out.

After the shoot Pete and I went to Uchi to celebrate.

I gave a lot of sassyface.

Then this week, I am going to show you our yard before and afters if it ever stops raining.

That’s the before. Lots o’ dirt.

AND, perhaps even more excitingly, the before and after of the edesign client who (re)started it all!

Hint…That first little baby board turned into this.

It’s good.

    I often think that I need to have a photoshoot just to get my house finished and styled. Did they bring a bunch of stuff – as in accessories – or equipment?

    I am so happy Bernie is doing well, but he sure looks sad.
    I was reading very quickly and I thought you turned your garden into a bedroom. duh!

    Oh poor Bernie! Oh poor mama! There is nothing worse than a cone. If you get really tired of the wall scrape/ leg scrape… I suggest the comfy cone at petco. My Ike spent the entire month of feb. (except for 2 days in a cone.).

    Can’t wait to see all your stuff this week!

    Oh my gosh, more power to you woman! I actually really like your backyard, I think hydrangea bushes and ivy would make it look even better. Love the cute little shed! And also, I’ve been dying over that chinois wallpaper for so long..is it degournay? would love to know who makes it? and if in my wildest dreams i could afford it!

    I’m so happy Bernie is doing better :) and I’m so freaking excited to see your house in a printed magazine! I’m going to buy it as soon as it comes out, seriously I feel like such a stalker but I just love you! And your design aesthetic… So inspiring.
