Life Lately…In pictures

Minimal Words.

Because my brain won’t make good words right now. Too fried.

This is life lately.

Ikea. Soul crushing. Bought two beds, a desk, and a chair for clients without ANY customer assistance. I felt like a boss, and kissed both my biceps, but EFF Ikea. Nightmare.

I can deal with this kind of client work. This has been in operation for months, can’t wait to show you the before and afters. Werd, Kelly.

Also werd to this. Imma find a home for you.

See Lu 1612, in that bottom corner. He’s coming to live with me. G.L.A.M.O.R.OUS. Yeah.

Fleaing for the store…less glamorous, but still fun.

Cataloging fabric for the store…Glamorous but tedious.

Though I hate to say it, Beyonce’s life seems a little bit more glamorous than mine.

Thanks for the heads up Jamie, except not really…

Jelly Beans.

Well, except for this:

Babies in Bathers are the height of glamour.

I have a love/hate relationship with IKEA – I can never get assistance when I need it. I’m prepared for it now and I’m always sure to bring the hubby, but the first time – I really did not expect to get zero help.

i love that caption on the pink swatch! so true – i’m trying to mix in more greys and blacks to balance out my pink explosion in the living room.

Ikea is totally equal parts amazing and hellish…..but your Goyard bag really amps up the appeal! I’ve had my eyes on one for about 16 months.

And I love the tile in your clients shower. Reminds me of old time NYC.

Word on the street is that even a visibly looking pregnant lady cannot get assistance at Ikea. As for pink, it can look totally masculine. Check it in milesredd living room. As for the tortoise wallpaper, I’ve been wanting that, too. And those fabrics you are hoarding, cute. (also, check out scalamandre 3rd floor. There are some pretty cute indoor/outdoor options for under $7/yard! And last but not least, tiny bathing beauties are a weakness of mine. Have been for years. Those jellybean shaped bodies getme every time.

I love the pink quote! That’s exactly the kind of ammo I need to convince the boyfriend we need more of it in our home. :)
Also, I can’t wait for your shop to open up! I recently moved from Austin to Houston, so I’m excited to have a new store full of great design to look forward to.
