With my Biscuit Homegirl, Isabel.
We are in the Carolinas for the next 4 days where we will be on call at the factory printing our Biscuit bedding.
I had the longest travel day of my life yesterday, and I feel a little disoriented.
I went to my best friends farm outside of Houston this weekend to soak up some quality time with Gracie and Pete and my friends…
Happy Girl!
That shirt fits you perrrfectly Pete!
Then woke up at 7 am yesterday morning and drove from the Texas countryside, straight to the airport. I flew to Raleigh and finally finally ended up here.
HERE!
I got to enjoy a beverage and a chat and some fried pickles with the Furbish ladies, before driving 3 hours to pick up Isabel at another regional airport at 9 pm.
I feel like I have spent a lot of time at regional airports lately.
Isabel came with the screen strike offs for our prints, the first time I got to see the prints on fabrics all big to scale and I am SO EXCITED.
This. This I am less excited about.
In case you couldn’t read it…That is a handwritten post-it bragging that the “Duvet covers & Sheets are clean for your arrival”.
Because…There was a chance they wouldn’t be?
Sweet dreams…

Hah! With a few years as a Chambermaid in my past, I can tell you that NO, they are not always clean! They probably got sick of people removing the duvet or bringing their own sheets, which more people do lately, due to the bedbug infestations! On a cheerier note, you look SOOOOO good (and young!) with bangs!
Rawr! I want to see more of those prints! So exciting. Gracie in the shopping cart… my heart burst from her la-dee-da-ness.
I’m sure management is sick of people calling the front desk asking if the sheets are clean so they’re being proactive.
So if it helps, I don’t think that’s a handwritten post-it. I had the same one at a hotel back in August, so I think it’s a corporate thing. Still kind of icky, though, right?
Moving on, LOVE the prints! We just found out last week that a baby girl is in our future (!) and my plans for crisp white bedding may have just flown out the window!
Fun prints. Grace literally kills me w/ her little baby belly and chunky arms. Have a great week!when can I buy this stuff?!
That first picture of Gracie in the pool just kills me! What a cutie pie.
Glad you made it to NC safe and sound. Have a great trip and have a blast!!! xo
LOVE the fabric. Eeeek about the bed “sign”. That is some nasty jank.
Dibs on the top print, yhe blue and white. So when are you opening Bisquit? Hurry!
All the prints are darling, but I’m particularly excited about the polka dots. I’m not gonna lie.
Hi B.
First, that Grace is adorable!! Second, I am so excited for you. I hope you have the best time (and get a bit of sleep??) in the factory. Can NOT wait to see the goods!!!
I live in Raleigh! We’re having our wedding reception right around the corner of Furbish. Y’all still in Raleigh or now in Charlotte? Ew and which hotel is that?!?
