**If you aren’t going to read all of this nonsense that’s cool, but PLEASE scroll down to the bottom and leave a comment answering my very important poll question today!!**
T.G.I.F.
This has been the most hectic, work filled, satisfying, and exhausting week- maybe ever for me.
This week I had a brief stint as a Juror, and even more fleeting moment as a beauty expert?
We finished moving into the office (for now), so I can finally work without my baby, two dogs, husband etc. around…
Although they do stop by for super professional Business Lunches.
I hired, and started working with, two adorable and talented interns (That would be one of their pretty braids in the above picture).
Can I just tell you how nice it is to actually work with people again? I know a lot of creative types who work for themselves read this, and I don’t know how you do it long term. There would be days where I literally wouldn’t speak to a human for 5 hours in the work zone, and it was so draining. But now I have Jordan and Maddie and I can’t wait to introduce them to you.
And because I have them, I get to restart my client work that I put on hold a few months ago when balancing clients with starting Biscuit and still having time to enjoy Gracie became too much, and I needed more time with my girl. So much of starting Biscuit has been paperwork and logistics and the kind of work that makes my head feel a little numb, so getting back to the creative part working with clients feels so good.
You know what also feels good? Starting to see the pieces I have been working on for months getting ready to come stay at Biscuit until they find a home with one of you. Here is another great piece:
Oh the glorious headboards coming your way.
****Question: And I would appreciate as many answers as possible so I can get a good polling here. What size bed do you have? How many of you are in the market for Queen headboards/bedding vs. King headboards/bedding?****
Thank You for your help, and have a fantastic weekend!

Queen = cozy (plus it fits our NYC bedroom!)
King!
King in the master and queens in the guest rooms. Once you go king you never go back! My husband’s family is tall, so we can’t have queens in the house!
Queen, but I’d get a king if I had a boyfriend. Or a bigger bedroom. Does that help?
I have a queen that I HATE. Just moved in with my boyfriend and there is no headboard and we have a solid white comforter which is driving me nuts. I’ve thought about making my own headboard, but I would rather shell out the dough to have it done right. I’ve also been dreaming about the Raleigh headboard from Pottery Barn recently. Seriously. The only reason we haven’t gotten pretty bed linens yet is because I’m pretty sure I can’t convince him to the vintage floral etsy fabric I’ve been stalking. Sleepless and Hopeless in DC.
Queen. Kings are too big for snuggling.
Queen. Kings are too big for snuggling with husbands and puppies.
I have a California king love it. My sons have full/queen size beds.
KING! And there aren’t too many king head boards out there that I like…
