Sorry for my absence last week. Pete and I flew to Santa Fe to celebrate the wedding of two of our favorite people, and enjoy the last weekend of what has been the summer of madness.
Here’s a look back in pictures.
May:
Pete and I decided to move to Houston, and came to visit friends and look for a place to live.
Then I joined Pete’s family for a trip to Scotland.
June:
We enjoyed our last few weeks in Austin.
And REALLY enjoyed bringing Gracie to Italy.
July:
We visited our family and friends in Chicago, and had a blast taking Gracie around our old home town.
We celebrated Gracie’s birthday…
…Several Times.
And then got to live it up baby-free for a weekend at Lollapalooza.
August:
Then, in August, we officially moved to Houston.
Caught up with friends.
Announced what I had been working on for many crazy months, Biscuit!
And took the edge off with several margaritas.
Then, this past weekend, we had the most perfect end to the summer of madness.
Celebrating the wedding of our beloved Antonio and Madison, and catching up with old wonderful friends.
All of these highlights were happening while I continued working, we moved out of our house in Austin, and tried to balance life changes with a baby in tow. I can safely say after this weekend we are partied/traveled/moved out and are really looking forward to settling into our new routine and life here in Houston.
I am finally moving into our Biscuit office space this week, and it is going to be a slightly overwhelming feat getting us ready to launch by the end of October. I will be sure to keep you updated.
Oh! And if you are noticing in that picture above that my hair looks a little..ahem…longer? I may or may not have gotten some temporary weave help for the weekend.
I hope you all had a fun, fabulous, and eventful summer and are all looking forward to my favorite season as much as I am.
