Who…some of you may be wondering…exactly is Fiona? Fiona is the preternaturally adorable offspring of one of my favorite people on the internet, Jenny MFAMB.
Jenny was always going to be an inspired print, she is very dear to my heart, my fairy godmother with a hotter body than me. For those of you who know and love Jenny, you know her style is at once kind of granny chic english countryside cottage, and rocker funky modernish. So I knew I wanted a floral, but I wanted a little twist on it. And then I saw this uhmazeing room she designed for her preshness, Fiona Honey, and we had our direction.
So we wanted to do a super traditional floral, in some unusual twisty colors. And name it for her girl.
Stop it right now lilac and chartreuse. You too coral and minty green. Y’all are like the slutty librarian of prints. In a good way. Traditional goodness with a lot of rawr.
But…What does Jenny think? Especially nerve-wracking because she made the original Fiona, and she is perfection. I didn’t want to mess up the namesake.
Bailey: Do you like your print? Do you feel like it captures a part of your personality?
Jenny: Why yes..I LOVE my print. That is a testament to your interior decorating prowess. You took the essence of me/fiona and put it into some soft 350 thread count goodness. It is exactly what i would have designed myself. And that is no joke.
B: Where/how would you use it?
B: How do you feel about people sleeping on your face?
J: I am so honored to have Fiona be a namesake print. It’s just plain fucking cool, really. I love that this bedding is so so close to porthault without the porthault price tag. I am ALWAYS in search of bedding for me, clients, fiona…etc… and this stuff is so interchangeable you could totally share it with your kid. There are so many ways to use it. So..thank you for making it!!
So, Fiona. The print, not the child. What do you think? Is she comin’ home with you? I think she should.
