Feeling Foxy…

It is always strange when something you love becomes a “thing”.

The foxy door knocker I did for our house in Chicago two years ago…

Part of you is like SEE! Isn’t it great! Now I can buy my favorite thing everywhere, and share my foxy love with everyone. But then part of you is like…shucks. Now my thing isn’t my special thing anymore. Now my thing is trendy.

Don’t believe me that the Fox is the animal dejour?

Mostly though, I embrace it. Because it is adorable and stylish, and I kind of want it all.

I would also like to formally invite all of you, my nearest and dearest, to our Holiday Open House this Wednesday from 7-9. Our neighbor store Sloan Hall is hosting their annual Christmas party with food, music and drinks, and has invited us to join in on the action. Stop by both parties! We will be slingin’ champagne and offering 15% off select items in the store at Biscuit, and they will be bumpin tunes and serving Mexican food down on their end!

I hope to see you all there…and if you are planning to come please either leave a comment or email store@biscuit-home.com and let us know so we can make sure we have enough beverages for all of you.

You are welcome to stop by even if you don’t RSVP, I hope to see some of you there!

I think it’s true with owls, too. I love them and have collected them for awhile and now it seems like they are EVERYWHERE. Fine by me, I just get to add more to my growing obsession, er, collection..

My sister feels the same way about Owls. She’s collected them for 10 years and now they’re all over the place. But it makes it easier to shop for her! And she still loves them.
