I’m back.

And here is where I’ve been.

Christmas Eve we went over to my moms house for Fancy Christmas. It was lovely.

Queen Gracie sat upon her throne of presents.

Christmas morning Gracie and I got up and made blueberry muffins while Pete went to pick up his parents.

And then we all opened presents together. It was mayhem. Santa might have only brought Gracie one toy (her piano), but the rest of her friends and family spoiled her rotten.

Then we snuck off to Mexico with my parents for a few days. Gracie wasn’t so sure about sand. Too clingy and tickly.

It rained most of the time, but it was sunny enough one day for Grace to practice her musical theatre moves with her Dad.

I returned very well rested and inspired to get Biscuit refreshed for the New Year.

Maddie and I came in yesterday and turned the place upside down.

And then came in early this morning to put it all back together again.

We will have all of our printed items in next week, and the whites soon after that. And we are adding squillions of kooky, beautiful, fancy new gifts and accessories to the store.

We are hiring for a new PAID internship at the store. We need someone Saturdays, and two days weekly-though we are flexible on the weekly hours. The position will be a three month training/trial, where you will get experience in design, sales, and marketing. Everything here is growing so quickly, and there are a lot of opportunities for a more full-time position if the internship is a good match. Not to mention- Maddie and I are a blast. :)

If you are interested- or know someone who is, please send cover letter and resume to by January 11.

Happy New Year Bailey! Happy to hear you are rested after the holidays. Can you tell me where you stayed in Mexico? I’m looking for a getaway in February.

I live in cold and snowy Massachusetts with my three kids, ages 7, 5, and 1. I would kill for a pool. I hate having to pack up bags every day all summer to bring them to our club or a friend’s house, or the beach. Not that I wouldn’t still do those things, but having a watering hole in one’s own backyard is such a luxury. I would think long and hard about this one.
